“Although I cannot save the world at one time, I believe in the philosophy of helping one person at a time until every person is accounted for.” Jonathan Lawrence finds great joy in helping people heal. He is a Limited Licensed, Masters Level, Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work from Benedict College and a Masters of Social Work from Michigan State University.

While working in private practice as a Psychotherapist and Health Coach and in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, his eyes have been opened to the stark reality that healing is the top priority in communities at large. He has helped many identify painful areas in their lives and has created treatment plans to assist them in dealing with their truths. And in doing so, he has always reminded them that healing is not a destination—healing is a journey to wholeness.

Jonathan is a native of Lansing, Michigan, where he resides with his wife and four daughters. He attributes his success to them—the strong black women, who propelled him to reach new heights. They are the reason behind the pursuit of his passion that not only benefits families, but also makes a tremendous impact on entire communities.
