T. Rhett Pinckney is a husband, father of two beautiful girls, and a project manager by trade. A 2013 graduate of Le Moyne College – Rhett notes that majoring in physics was a “game changer” for him. He was challenged to think deeply and analytically – and to develop mental fortitude in the face of adversity. He learned to master the art of breaking down complex projects into small actionable items after realizing physics at its core was simply the application of mathematics and philosophy – an important skill that he now uses to solve real world problems.

Rhett has capitalized on this experience to trailblaze new paths in the medical device industry. Notable recent achievements include launching a product performance research program, implementing new products for international customers and helping to establish new processes for clinical evaluations on a global scale for Bausch + Lomb. Rhett knows the effectiveness of collaboration and how important it is to understand processes to achieving excellence.

For Rhett, faith and family are important components of his success. “I know how real God’s glory is as he’s spoken to me through my family, sending good counsel and wisdom right on time,” says Rhett. When not leading international team meetings – Rhett can be found teaching his oldest daughter how to play soccer, volunteering at his local church, or working on his golf game. He is a renaissance man who embodies the spirit of what it means to be Bold and Gritty.
