The Mentality Mentor
Dubbed the “Mentality Mentor,” Wes walks alongside student athletes to help them break down the mental barriers that have gotten in the way of them becoming better athletes and people.
Wes Trammell is a former Grand Valley State University basketball player that never quite fit the typical mold as a coach. He wanted to do something different and still make an impact on youth in the community. In 2017, he created The Chosen Ones GR to help athletes develop resilience and mental fortitude, improve performance, overcome their worst moments, and grow as leaders.
Dubbed the “Mentality Mentor,” Wes walks alongside student athletes to help them break down the mental barriers that have gotten in the way of them becoming better athletes and people. He understands how competitive it can be to gain exposure in the recruitment arena. So he goes the extra mile to create highlight videos for athletes, giving them an edge on their entrance into a broader spectrum of the game.
Wes credits his success not to his own abilities but rather to his relationship with God. It is through Him that he has the courage to turn his dreams into a reality. He is also very grateful for his lovely wife Brianna, who faithfully supports him and walks beside him on the journey.
